Red Zone, working safely around plant.

Aim

To give an overview and hands on demonstration of the proximity dangers when working with and approaching construction plant.

Objective

To demonstrate on site using various items of plant the possible dangers to workers safety posed by working close to plant operations. By the end of the session the workers will have a better awareness of blind spots, radius swings, reversing vehicles, crush zones, limitations of cctv, duties of the spotter, required PPE and the importance of RAMS.
